It is built on a rugged polymer frame that includes aggressive stipling, ergonomically placed along the grip to ensure firearm retention and to maintain positive hand alignment for optimal accuracy. A manual, external safety is located conveniently above the thumb for quick manipulation in stressful conditions. The reversible magazine release is also ergonomically positioned for rapid, one-hand mag drops during tactical mag changes.
