Description
The Sig Sauer M18-Commemorative is a limited edition civilian version of the modular, striker fired, 9mm pistol derived from the US Army’s full sized Sig M17. The P320-M18 adopts the same Carry Length grip module, components, coating, and markings as the M17 with a shorter 3.9” barrel and the same optic cut specified by the MHS contract. This Commemorative firearm features the original military coyote-tan colored controls and comes standard with the excellent SIGLITE tritium night sights. Perhaps the most important quality for any military firearm is reliability. During evaluations testers fired 16,500 rounds through five weapons and the M18 achieved a 95 percent probability of firing 99 rounds of FMJ or JHP ammunition continuously without a single failure. The P320-M18 features a manual ambidextrous safety and slide stop/release. The standard curved trigger of the M18 has a clean break and positive reset. Out front, an accessory rail allows the mounting of weapon lights and lasers. The M18-Commemorative model comes with (2) 21-round magazines, (1) 17-round magazine, and comes in in the same cardboard packaging as delivered to the U.S. Army.
Each SIG SAUER M18-Commemorative pistol features a unique serial number ranging from M18-0001 through M18-5000. Upon registration the purchaser will receive an official certificate of authenticity and commemorative challenge coin, both with serial numbers matching the purchased M18-Commemorative pistol.
