The SDS Imports Tisas 1911A1 Service model is a single action pistol chambered in 45 ACP that is a near exact clone of the legendary 1911A1 introduced in 1926 and used through two world wars. This modern reproduction remains true to the original design in almost every way. From the original sights to the checkered grips, short reach trigger and frame cutouts, this pistol captures the look and feel of the original precisely. The major noticeable differences between this firearm and the original include a flared and lowered ejection port, and a widened, polished feed ramp for reliability. The Tisas 1911A1 also includes the Series 70 lockwork first introduced in the early 70s to improve accuracy. This impressive reproduction is manufactured from original blueprints using precise modern manufacturing methods for a better fit and finish than the original and remarkable reliability. Other Standard features include a forged hard chrome plated 5″ barrel, hammer forged steel frame and beveled magazine well. (1) 8 round magazine and cleaning kit included.
