The Ruger LCP II chambered in 22LR brings all of the popular features of its 380ACP big brother into an ideal package for training or plinking and adds a few new features of its own. The LCP II in 22LR uses a light rack system which includes a lighter recoil spring, enhanced cocking serrations and cocking “ears” at the back of the slide for easy slide manipulation. This pistol uses a recessed hammer and integral sights which are machined into the slide. Safety features include a magazine disconnect, a neutrally balanced sear and a hammer catch to prevent firing unless the trigger is pulled. The LCP II 22LR has a manual thumb safety and uses Ruger’s Secure Action fire control which gives the trigger a smooth pull, crisp break and positive tactile reset. Of course at its heart this is still an LCP II with the same great textured grip and fire control systems you already know and love. With a 10+1 capacity and the low recoil and cost of 22LR, this ultra compact firearm is perfect for inexpensive training or just plinking in the back yard.
