Ruger uses their patented Power Bedding system to positively locate the receiver and free-float a threaded, cold hammer forged barrel with precision rifling for outstanding accuracy. Of course accuracy means getting the most out of your rifle so the American Rimfire rifle uses Ruger’s Marksman adjustable trigger with a 3 to 5 pound pull and an interchangeable stock module with a high comb to allow you to tailor your rifle to your preferred length of pull and trigger pressure. The ergonomic Ruger American features an easy to reach tang-mounted safety and oversized magazine release for the included flush mounted JMX-1 rotary magazine.
