This Ruger American Pistol Compact model is a single stack striker fired handgun chambered in 45ACP. The Ruger American was designed to meet US military standards and tested under the most extreme conditions. A low bore axis, center of gravity, low mass slide and recoil reducing barrel cam combine to produce a firearm that shoots surprisingly flat and soft for a compact model chambered in 45 ACP. Thanks to a pre-tensioned striker system and strong striker spring, the Ruger American delivers a positive primer strike with a light crisp trigger pull. Novak LoMount Carry three dot sights aid in fast target acquisition. True ambidextrous slide stop and magazine release mean that the Ruger American is ready to go right out of the box no matter which hand you favor. An automatic sear block and integrated trigger safety ensure your firearm will not go bang until you pull the trigger and an inspection port allows for visual confirmation of the loaded status of your firearm. Three 7 round magazines included.
