Description

The Maxim Defense PDX chambered in 7.62x39mm is an AR based Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) designed for Military Special Operations that is perfect for home defense. The PDX delivers immense firepower in an incredibly compact package that is easy to maneuver and aim in close quarter combat situations. This 18.75” (compressed) weapon uses Maxim’s 5 position SCW pistol brace with an innovative patent pending buffer system that is integrated into a specially designed BCG with interchangeable buffer weights and reduces the length of the buffer tube to just 4”. The PDX has a 5.5” barrel with a tunable gas block sitting inside an M-Lok handguard with finger stop and a locking lug that connects the handguard to the receiver and eliminates twist. Out front, the PDX is equipped with Maxim Defense’s Hatebrake™ muzzle booster which directs the blast away from the operator while reducing flash and recoil. This compact PDW uses a Radian Raptor ambidextrous charging handle, ambi controls and an ALG Combat Trigger™. One 20 round magazine included.
