This 9mm 150 grain ammunition is designed to put maximum energy on target to knock down steel, reduce splash back, and lower recoil for faster follow up shots. Syntech is recognized as the official ammunition of the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) and perfect for NRA or IDPA competitions but anyone shooting steel will enjoy the benefits of this high performance ammunition. Federal’s Total Synthetic Jacket (TSJ) bullets are constructed using a soft lead core that disintegrates on contact with steel. This core is completely contained within a proprietary polymer coating that reduces barrel wear and eliminating the lead vapor that occurs when hot gasses of the propellent contact exposed lead. Federal also uses lead-free primers almost completely eliminating airborne lead particles. A softer recoil impulse is achieved by using a heavier bullet with less powder that delivers the same energy as lighter bullets with more powder. A flat nose bullet design ensures that this energy is efficiently transferred to the target. All of this technology comes together to produce a soft shooting, clean burning ammunition with the performance necessary for serious competition.
