The lightweight Christensen Arms Mesa hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC delivers superior quality and sub-MOA accuracy at an accessible price. At around 250 feet per second faster than 6.5 Creedmoor, the the flat shooting 6.5 PRC (Precision Rifle Cartridge) is perfect for long distance hunting or competition. With roots in the Aerospace industry Christensen Arms brings their expertise in light weight carbon fiber composites into the world of firearms. The result of this technology transfer is a line of firearms designed and built with the latest materials and technology to precise tolerances. The Mesa features a 24” free floating, featherweight contour 416R stainless steel threaded barrel with a tungsten Cerakote finish, 1:8 twist, and a seamless removable radial brake married to a Christensen Arms carbon fiber composite, Sporter style stock. The Mesa is Rem 700 optics base compatible thanks to a Christensen Arms receiver with enlarged ejection port. Internally a twin lug, nitride treated, spiral fluted bolt with M-16 style extractor is fed by an internal magazine with a hinged floor plate and 4 round capacity. As a finishing touch, a Trigger Tech® Trigger sends rounds down range. The result is a premium rifle with guaranteed sub-MOA accuracy that weighs in at only 6.5lbs.
