The FN Five seveN is a full sized, polymer framed pistol chambered for the high velocity 5.7×28 round. This unique pistol was developed in the late 90s as a companion to FNs popular P90 rifle. Originally intended to replace the 9mm cartridge for NATO forces, the small, light weight 5.7×28 round travels at around 2300 feet per second allowing it to penetrate body armor with the proper ammunition (sold to law enforcement and military only). The light weight single action FN Five seveN features a cold hammer forged, stainless steel chrome lined barrel, a polymer encased metal slide and polymer frame with an amazing 20 round capacity. This pistol comes with adjustable 3 dot sights, a forward mounted, ambidextrous safety, reversible magazine release and accessory rail for weapon lights or lasers. The Five seveN’s characteristic low recoil makes for fast follow up shots and the bullet’s high velocity lends itself to a flat trajectory and greater range.
