The Wilson Combat EDC X9L is an ultra high quality, double stack 1911 variant chambered in 9mm with a 18+1 capacity for those who demand the very best. This bold redesign of the legendary 1911 features a match grade 5” stainless barrel and bushing with WC’s own reliability enhancing lock-up system, a flush cut reverse crown, and fluted chamber. The high capacity compact aluminum frame of this exquisite pistol is mated to a 5″ stainless steel Trim-Top slide with a user serviceable external extractor. Wilson Combat’s unique X-Tac serrations on the front and rear of the slide provide a secure grip for slide manipulation. Target acquisition is achieved with a bright fiber optic front and tough, adjustable rear battle sight. The EDC X9L uses Wilson’s excellent Bullet Proof concealment hammer, thumb safety, and magazine release. The beautiful, screwless G10 starburst grips with pewter medallions, work together with the X-Tac frontstrap and interchangeable X-Tack backstrap to provide a secure grip under any conditions. 1911’s are known for their amazing triggers and Wilson Combat delivers with a silky smooth trigger that breaks cleanly and 3.5 to 4.5 lbs with an extremely short reset. This model comes with an extended magwell and (2) 18 round magazines.
