The 4.94” barrel further enhances accuracy with a long sight picture. The 57 uses Ruger’s proven Secure Action fire control system with a protected internal hammer, and the short-stroke, double action, bladed safety trigger has a smooth pull, clean break, and positive reset. Loaded chamber status is easy with both a visual inspection port and tactile indicator. The Ruger-57™ magazine drops free on release for fast, easy re-loading although the amazing 20 round magazine capacity means you won’t have to do it very often.
