The Smith & Wesson SD9 is a direct evolution of the Smith & Wesson SD, and its overall design has an improved self-defense trigger, and a comfortable, ergonomic, FDE textured grip. The SD9 also features an improved stainless steel barrel and slide, which were not standard on the original SD.
